OC: Beltane

damn this one is long overdue! really happy with how it came out, too < 3

Beltane was created in 2014 as one of several puppies in a litter,
all with pagan sabbat, esbat, and general festival names

I kept several of the pups and still use them all, but Beltane is by far
one of my faves from the group and he reaaalllly needed a fresh ref ;U;

He's an awkward lil butterball
stars want him for his body (dont ask me why, i realize stars arent sentient but this is chim logic)
and tend to accumulate in his ruff/around his shoulders. they function as decoration and as
a defense mechanism- they'll whirl and burn and slice up enemies who get too close. they like
to twirl and spin around him in defensive maneuvers when he's feeling particularly nervous too
and they glow in the dark to light his path in space or in the night time
